Inspirational Life Quotes was the 150th page I published on Squidoo. I had been publishing a lot of Squidoo sales lenses – oops, we call them Product Reviews these days – and I wanted such a landmark lens to be more personal.

It took awhile to come up with the topic, but then my eyes alighted on the book that I always have with me on my desk.

This beautiful book was given to me by a very special friend who was repatriating to the US. Full of blank pages, with a few printed quotes, I decided to use the book to record quotes I found as I do my researching and writing.

Of course traffic is important to me, whichever lens I write, so I did my usual keyword research – which is just as well as the competition for the topic is huge. Then I set about writing my lens. I even use a screen shot of a couple of the pages.

What I like about my very special Inspirational Life Quotes book is that it is made of quality paper, that just scream out to be written on with a quality pen. I like the fact that the book encourages me to write with a pen, because I spend so much time typing these days.
