Crow Is The Keeper Of Sacred Law

March 27, 2011 | Author: | Posted in Native American

In many Native American tribal traditions, Crow is known as the keeper of Sacred Law.  It is even said that a special book with the laws given to the red race at the beginning of time by the Creator is covered in Crow feathers. As humans we sometimes have difficulty seeing the difference between the laws of humanity and the sacredness of the laws of the universe. Crow does not have this problem of the two types of laws because it sees with one eye and is aware of all that is around her whether it be justice or injustice.

What are the laws that Crow guards and protects?

  • Take good care of Mother Earth and the other colors of humanity
  • Respect the Earth and the miracle of creation
  • Honor and support all life
  • Be grateful for life, all life. Remember to thank the Creator for life.
  • Love with your entire being and remember to express that love
  • Be humble in your dealings. Remember that humility comes from the gift of wisdom and understanding
  • Show kindness to yourself and to others
  • Share your feelings and concerns
  • Be honest with yourself and all you meet.
  • Be responsible for these sacred laws and share them will all nations

As a spiritual teacher or an animal totem, Crow will come to you to help you understand these Sacred Laws. She will help you grow in areas that you might be falling short on. She may also help you get a higher level of understanding in a specific law of the universe.
